The Story
The Quick Click™ Modular Hose System has been developed from a combination of over
20 years of complaints and requests from customers about their vacuum cleaner hose
systems; Both central vacuums and canister vacuums.
·
Many customers are disappointed or frustrated with
their vacuum after their purchase. It generally comes down to the fact that they
find the connection between the handgrip and the wand very difficult to disconnect.
A person requires many synchronistic strengths and operations to perform this task.
A person must have thumb strength to push in the button lock release at the same
time as hand and finger strength to grasp and pull the wand. The other arm requires
arm and shoulder strength to pull this connection apart while grasping and pushing
with the other.
·
The effortless Quick Click™ connection system has been developed
to eliminate this difficult operation. The patented technology of the Quick Click™ system has no buttons to squeeze and
does not require any pushing or pulling. Only a simple twist aided by the laws of
physics is required.
Central Vacuums
·
The awkwardness with the twisting and tangling of a
central vacuum hose is probably the main complaint and frustration regarding using
a central vacuum system. The suction unit is rarely an issue, it all comes down
to what you are holding in your hand.
·
The Quick Click™
Modular Hose System utilizes a Triple Swivel! Each coupler has continuous
360 swivels which gives a double swivel in the center of the hose, and another swivel
at the handgrip. These swivels eliminate all the frustrating twisting and tangling
of the hose for smooth easy vacuuming.
·
Many people would prefer a shorter length of hose for
easier use and transport. This has not been available on the market until now….
·
The modularity of the Quick Click™ system allows you the customer to shorten
your hose down to the initial 20’ length which allows easier use and transport throughout
your home, as well as greater cleaning efficiency. 20’ of hose still gives a 40’
cleaning radius.
·
Many consumers are concerned about the loss of efficiency
through a long vacuum hose.
·
While it is true that some efficiency
is lost through the length of hose, the Quick Click™
hose uses a “Flow Through” design handgrip and couplers combined with 1 3/8” (35
mm) smooth lined ID hose for the least amount of resistance possible. Extensive
tests have been performed at an exaggerated 75’ of hose using 5 lengths of hose
connected together. The cleaning efficiency at the end of this length of hose was
still more than adequate to clean the carpet. Rice placed on the carpeted floor
was still being sucked into the sides of the electric power nozzle from a distance
of ½ inch away!
·
Many customers would like a longer hose to reach those
hard to reach areas.
·
Many people will now keep an extra
longer length of hose up/downstairs to save the effort of hauling the entire system
up/down. They may use this length to add onto their initial length for greater vacuuming
reach and access.
·
Many people find the transport of their traditional
single length hose system around the house clumsy and awkward.
·
The Quick Click™
handgrip will now be left in the wand leaving the end of the hose virtually weightless.
The weight of the handgrip will no longer be swinging and banging around during
transport. Additionally the ability to only carry 20’ of hose around the house makes
it barely noticeable.
·
Many customers complain that their air bleeder vent
on their handgrip is accidentally left open or at least partially open for many
months before they notice it. While this vent is necessary for reducing suction
when vacuuming drapes and other delicate items, you only want full suction power
for flooring. If this vent is bumped or forgotten open, you will have greatly diminished
cleaning efficiency on your flooring.
·
The Quick Click™
system has a secondary attachment handle that has this air bleeder vent.
The main handgrip will normally always be left in the wand with the power head/floor
tool, and is thus made without this air bleeder vent. You, the customer will always
vacuum with full suction power to your flooring.
·
Clogs. Clogs behind the bend of the handgrip, or in
the middle of a traditional single length hose can be a nightmare. What can you
do?
·
Although clogs are much less common
in the Quick Click™ Modular hose due to the large diameter,
and flow through design of the handgrip and couplers, the Quick Click™ system has other features that virtually
eliminate any worry about dealing with the possibility of a clog. The Quick Click™ handgrip clicks off for quick easy access
to clogs behind the bend of the handgrip. As well, the Quick Click™
Modular Hose also has direct access to the center of the hose. Any point in between
has direct and straight access without the bend of the handgrip in the way.
·
Collapsing and wearing out of hose behind the handgrip.
·
The ability to leave the handgrip in
the wand has many benefits. The hose tends to collapse and deteriorate behind the
handgrip mostly due to storage methods rather than normal use. When the handgrip
with hose is left in the wand during storage, the pressure of the hose is left pulling
down at the connection of hose to handgrip for extended periods of time. This causes
a weakening of the hose at this point. Also with the handgrip attached to the hose,
and hung on a hanger for storage, the weight of the handgrip pulls down, tightening
some of the loops, leaving the hose hung unevenly. This does not happen with the
Quick Click™ system.
Canister Vacuums
The combination of the Quick Click™
Modular Hose System with a canister vacuum creates a cleaning experience that has
the portability of a canister vacuum with the ease and versatility of a built in
vacuum system.
This hose system is presently available as an aftermarket hose to upgrade/replace
existing hoses for Electrolux, Filter Queen, Tristar, Miracle Mate, Rexair, Rainbow,
and all universal standard fit machines.
The Quick Click™ Modular Hose system for canisters consists
of an initial 7.5’ length of hose, a secondary 7.5’ length of hose, and your handgrip.
This gives you 15’ of hose, and a 30’ cleaning radius without the need to move your
vacuum. Longer lengths are available to extend this reach even more.
-
Stairs. Many
canister vacuum companies have tried to come up with novel ways for the canister
unit to sit on the stairs to remove the effort of carrying your vacuum while vacuuming
them. Of course you still have to carry the vacuum up the stairs, it is in the way,
and has the possibility of being knocked down the stairs which has been experienced
by many people.
-
Vacuuming your stairs with the Quick Click™
hose is effortless. Leave your vacuum at the bottom of the stairs and simply go
up your stairs with only the hose.
-
High areas.
Ceiling fans, tops of cupboards, valences, high window ledges and walls.
-
The ability to add lengths and extend your hose makes reaching all high and difficult
areas easy without the hassle of lifting or carrying your vacuum.
-
Vehicles. It
is a chore to prop your vacuum on the sill of the vehicle or awkwardly in the way
on the seat, and then to pull the vacuum from side to side of the vehicle just to
access those other areas of the vehicle.
-
Simply click on the extra length of hose, leave your vacuum on the ground, and snake
all through your vehicle.
-
Small confined
areas, rooms, bedrooms, cluttered areas with various obstacles.
-
Do not bang your vacuum around the bed or other such objects any more. Leave the
vacuum in the hall or room entrance and simply go through the room with just the
hose.
-
Churches. The
pews are generally awkward and time consuming to bump the vacuum through each row.
-
Simply pull the vacuum down the center aisle, while the hose is woven in and out
of each row as you go.
-
Hotels, Motels.
Depending on the vacuum used, many vacuums blow dust out of the exhaust which re-settles
on all of the surfaces that have just been cleaned.
-
The ability to quickly go in and out of a room with just the hose has many obvious
advantages. Leaving the vacuum outside or in the hall is also a quicker cleaner
method of cleaning.
-
Clogs.
-
Although clogs are much less common in the Quick Click™
Modular hose due to the large diameter, and flow through design of the handgrip
and couplers, the Quick Click™
system has other features that virtually eliminate any worry about dealing with
the possibility of a clog. The Quick Click™
handgrip clicks off for quick easy access to clogs behind the bend of the handgrip.
As well there is direct and straight access to the rest of the hose without the
bend of the handgrip in the way.
-
Air Bleeder
Vent.
-
The Quick Click™ system has a secondary attachment
handle that has this air bleeder vent. The main handgrip will normally always be
left in the wand with the power head/floor tool, and is thus made without this air
bleeder vent. You, the customer will always vacuum with full suction power to your
flooring.
-
Hose longevity.
-
The ability to leave the handgrip in the wand has many benefits. The hose tends
to collapse and deteriorate behind the handgrip mostly due to storage methods rather
than normal use. When the handgrip with hose is left in the wand during storage,
the pressure of the hose is left pulling down at the connection of hose to handgrip
for extended periods of time. This causes a weakening of the hose at this point.
-
The extra 7.5’
of hose offers an extra 15’ of cleaning radius.
-
With the extra length of hose attached, your vacuum will now have the furthest reach
of any vacuum on the market.
-
No longer pull
the cord out of the wall while you are trying to reach those furthest corners, or
trying to cheat the fact that you must replug the cord into a new closer electrical
outlet. Many times this breaks one of the prongs off of the plug causing a costly
repair.
-
With the longest reach of any vacuum, it is much less likely that you will encounter
this situation.
-
Nearly all
vacuum cleaner hoses on the market utilize a narrower diameter hose that constricts
airflow, and heightens the ability for clogs.
-
The Quick Click™ hose system uses a larger 1 3/8” (35
mm) ID hose for maximum airflow and cleaning efficiency as well as removing the
opportunity for clogs.
-
Quality and
strength?
-
The Quick Click™ system is nearly indestructible. The
thickness and composition of the plastic combined with nylon bushings for smooth
swivel action along with a brand new type of electrical connection that lasts much
longer than any conventional connection used in any other vacuum makes the Quick
Click™ system the obvious choice.
